BB's Corner Grille: Dutch Sint Maarten

Many travelers avoid the local foods. This is usally a very good idea. After several visits to a particular region we learn that there are requirements for food service establishments. They may seem very simple to us, but workers must be tested on a regular basis for various communicable diseases that may be passed on to customers during food preparation.   This establishment is built on the ruins of a hotel distroyed by hurricane Lewis. It sits nestled on the corner between two Timeshare Hotels, the Atlantis Casino and the American Medical School of St Martin. It has changed a lot since it was first noticed peeping up through the ruins of the devastated building. The grille is owned and operated by a man we know only as BB. This is BB's Corner Grille. BB's specialty is Baby Back Ribs. Ribs are popular on the Island.

On the menu are, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, green salad and delicious grilled ribs. Sauce is optional. Ribs may be purchased without the sides and taken back to the room where more desirable sides may be added. It is a pleasant place to sit, listen to music, talk to passers by and the employees who have free time in the down season. BB's Corner Grille also serves various soft drinks, beer, grilled chicken and alcoholic beverages. It is a short walk from the University, Atlantis Casino, and Sapphire Beach Club.
